Lasers for Quantum and Atomic Applications

Quantum technologies rely on precise control of atomic transitions.

IPS lasers provide the wavelength stability, linewidth performance, and integration-ready designs required for cooling, trapping, and precision measurement, enabling a wide range of quantum and atomic systems.

Supporting Quantum Systems Through Atomic Transitions

Atomic transitions are the foundation of modern quantum technologies. IPS designs and manufactures laser solutions matched to key atomic transition wavelengths used in research, OEM, and commercial quantum systems. IPS supports common transitions, such as 780 nm (Rb) and 852 nm (Cs), as well as custom and emerging wavelengths for next‑generation systems.

Our offerings include narrow-linewidth diode lasers, frequency-stabilized lasers, and OEM-integrated modules, engineered for stability, repeatability, and system-level integration across laboratory and deployed environments.

Stable Platform. Proven Performance.

  • Recent independent testing demonstrated sub-kHz linewidth performance, a significant improvement over earlier measurements, and reinforcing the importance of system-level optimization in quantum and atomic applications. Additional characterization across multiple wavelengths is ongoing.
  • IPS provides a stable laser platform designed to support a wide range of atomic and quantum applications, with wavelength configurations aligned to key transition requirements.
  • Flexibility is focused where it matters most. IPS offers configurable wavelength options within proven designs, allowing you to match established transitions or explore new application needs with confidence.
  • Discuss your wavelength requirements with IPS to identify available configurations and evaluate what is possible for your system.
